Mayer Brown Rowe & Maw is the latest firm to benefit from the collapse of Brobeck Phleger & Harrison by hiring its IT outsourcing group
As first revealed on www.thelawyer.com/lawyer news (19 February), Mayer Brown has taken on Brobeck's former IT head Nigel Howard and lead outsourcing partner David Hudanish, along with four other lawyers.
The team's clients include DuPont, JPMorgan Chase, American Airlines and Reuters. Mayer Brown's Washington DC outsourcing head Dan Masur said: "Brobeck was one of a small cadre of firms in the top tier of IT and business process outsourcing. We're delighted to have [this team] on board."
So far Morgan Lewis has been the biggest winner from the collapse of Brobeck, taking 150 lawyers from the firm, including around 50 partners.
