Bristol's Burges Salmon makes up five

Bristol-based Burges Salmon is to promote five new partners across the firm’s core practices.

With effect from 1 May, Euan Bremner and Richard Read become partners in the property group, Antony Ellis becomes a partner in commercial, Adrian Martin a partner in employment, and Mahrie Webb a partner in corporate.

Former senior partner Bob Smyth said: “These are people who have already made a significant contribution to our success and bring new skills and ideas into play.”

Burges Salmon has a fairly consistent approach to partnership promotions. The firm promoted, six, three and five associates during the last three years.

Smyth added that the firm remains committed to its single site approach.

“In promoting Bristol as a place where the best can thrive, Burges Salmon is one of a number of professional firms which have contributed to establishing Bristol as a widely recognised centre of excellence for professional and technical services," he said.
