Video report: feeding the tiger — Asian investment in Australian real estate

Feeding the tiger: Asian investment in Australian real estate is an interactive video report that explores some of the key factors underpinning Asian investment in the Australian real-estate market.

To develop the report, DLA Piper convened a panel of five of Australia’s leading property executives, including Michael Andrews, senior director of international investments, CBRE; Nick Evans, executive director Australia, Henderson Global Investors; Jonathan Hannam, group executive — capital, Mirvac; Christian McKelvey, group head of property, Pepper Group; and Belinda Ngo, deputy executive director of the international and capital markets division, Property Council of Australia.

Each of the panellists responded to questions posed by Les Koltai, head of real estate, Australia, DLA Piper, in relation to their views on the investment landscape and the opportunities available to both foreign and domestic investors over the next 12 months.
