Video: asbestos and mesothelioma — the development and symptoms of mesothelioma

In this video, Alan Jolliffe, senior litigation executive — personal injury and clinical negligence at IBB Solicitors, focuses on mesothelioma. Mesothelioma is a cancer that affects the lining of the lung or, in very rare cases, the lining of the abdomen. In most cases, once diagnosed, life expectancy will be no more than 12–18 months — often less. Ninety-nine per cent of cases are thought to be caused by exposure to asbestos.
