UK to introduce 'class actions' in antitrust litigation

Following a nine-month consultation process, the UK government has announced proposals for far-reaching changes to the mechanisms for seeking redress in antitrust actions. Both during the consultation process and in the proposed reforms, the government has focused on making it easier for small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs) and consumers to bring claims.
