Pensions update — April 2013
Nabarro has launched the April 2013 edition of Pensions Update. Topics include auto-enrolment thresholds and changes, disclosure requirements for takeover bids and more.
The new automatic enrolment trigger and the qualifying earnings band for 2013/14 announced last December came into effect on 6 April 2013. From the same date the rounded figures to be used for pay reference periods of 1, 2 and 3 weeks and 1, 3 and 6 months were also revised.
The DWP has issued a consultation on Technical Changes to Automatic Enrolment, closing on 7 May 2013. The changes are intended to be laid before Parliament before the summer recess and in force by April 2014…
