New white paper on discrimination — Jersey
Hot on the heels of the news that the Discrimination (Jersey) Law 2013 is to become law on 1 September 2014, with the first protected characteristic (race), comes the newly published white paper on a proposed law to protect against sex discrimination. A consultation paper has been published to invite comments on the proposed scope of protection against sex discrimination, with a closing date for comments of 30 May 2014. It is hoped that any law subsequently passed would come into force on 1 September 2015…
