New dismissal compensation limits
The new compensation limits for dismissals taking place on or after 6 April 2014 have been published.
Of most relevance to employers are: the cap on a week’s pay for the purposes of calculating the basic award increases from £450 to £464; and the maximum compensatory award for unfair dismissal will rise from £74,200 to £76,574…
