Nabarro video guide: agency workers — the new rights
In this video training session, members of the Nabarro employment team update you on new rights for agency workers, which came into force on 1 October 2011.
Starting with a review of the new rights to equal pay and working conditions, the team outlines areas of particular concern such as bonus pay and the need to appraise agency workers.
The focus then shifts to agency workers’ new ‘Day One’ rights to access some of a hirer’s facilities. Throughout, the focus is on the steps you may take to prepare for, and deal with, your new obligations, as well as any exemptions and defences that may be available to you.
