Major legislative changes in the Czech Republic — why investors must act
The most important change implemented by the new Civil Code in the area of contract law is the cancellation of parallel rules; so far the same agreement can be governed either by the Civil Code or by the Commercial Code depending on the status of the parties (entrepreneur, consumer, public body etc). This division will be removed and in the future each contract type will be subject to only one act, namely the new Civil Code.
