Immigration law update
The UK Border Agency has published an updated version of its guide for employers on preventing illegal working in the UK. In addition, the government has announced additional measures (likely to come into effect in 2014) to deter employers from employing illegal workers.
The new guide came into effect on 28 October 2013 and replaces the previous guide (May 2012). The aim of the guide is to help employers understand the law on illegal working and it includes details of the evidence required by individuals to establish their right to work in the UK…
