Competition Commission announces investigation into payday lending industry and invites responses from interested parties
On 27 June 2013, the Competition Commission confirmed that it is to carry out an investigation into the market for payday lending in the UK, following the decision of the Office of Fair Trading (OFT) to refer the matter.
