Biennial ownership reports are due by 2 June 2014 for certain US non-commercial radio and television stations

By Lauren Lynch Flick and Scott R Flick

The staggered deadlines for filing biennial ownership reports by non-commercial radio and television stations remain in effect and are tied to each station’s respective licence renewal filing deadline.

Non-commercial radio stations licensed to communities in Michigan and Ohio and non-commercial television stations licensed to communities in Arizona, the District of Columbia, Idaho, Maryland, Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming must electronically file their Biennial Ownership Reports by 2 June 2014 (since 1 June falls on a weekend). Licensees must file using FCC Form 323-E and must also place the form as filed in their stations’ public inspection files.

Television stations must assure that a copy of the form is posted to their online public inspection files…
