Annual EEO public file report deadline for certain US stations

This Broadcast Station Advisory is directed to radio and television stations in Arizona, the District of Columbia, Idaho, Maryland, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming and highlights the upcoming deadlines for compliance with the Federal Communications Commisson’s (FCC’s) EEO Rule.
1 June 2014 is the deadline for broadcast stations licensed to communities in Arizona, the District of Columbia, Idaho, Maryland, Michigan, Nevada, New Mexico, Ohio, Utah, Virginia, West Virginia and Wyoming to place their Annual EEO Public File Report in their public inspection files and post the reports on their station websites.
Under the FCC’s EEO Rule, all radio and television station employment units, regardless of staff size, must afford equal opportunity to all qualified persons and practise non-discrimination in employment…
