ACAS publishes response to consultation on Settlement Agreements Code
ACAS has published its response to the consultation on the draft statutory Settlement Agreements Code of Practice. The consultation sought views on the draft Code, which will support the new legal provisions on the admissibility of settlement discussions in ordinary unfair dismissal cases. The new provisions on the confidentiality of settlement negotiations are contained in the Enterprise and Regulatory Reform Act 2013 and are due to come into force later this summer…
