New Employment Tribunal compensation limits announced
On 6 April 2014, the limits on certain Employment Tribunal awards and other amounts payable under employment legislation will increase.
The limit on the amount of a ‘week’s pay’ will increase from £450 to £464. This figure is used to calculate things such as statutory redundancy payments and the basic award for unfair dismissal. This means that the maximum statutory redundancy payment or basic award will be £13,920…
