Bradbury Roberts & Raby trainee Louise Brown became the Zurich Trainee Lawyer of the Year at the 2003 National Trainee Awards last week. Brown, who also won awards for the Best Trainee Working for a Regional Firm and the Trainee Most Likely to Make a Significant Contribution to the Community, was rewarded for spearheading a campaign to establish a contact centre in Scunthorpe, designed as a safe environment for estranged families to meet. The Most Promising Pupil Award, sponsored by Lawyer 2B, was won by Ruth Brander of 2 Garden Court.
