North West firm Brabners Chaffe Street has made its second property hire in three months by luring partner Chris Parkinson from DLA Piper's Manchester office. Brabners' 98-lawyer property group also snared associate Jo Mills from Walker Morris in late October. The team's clients include Elite Homes and Pickfords. Since merging with 28-lawyer James Chapman & Co earlier in the year, Brabners has been steadily growing, taking on lateral hires including a new sports consultant in September. It has also projected that its combined turnover will be over £25m. The firm appointed a new managing partner for its Manchester office last month, with corporate partner Mark Brandwood taking over from partner Robert Street.
