The school has turned its back on the usual September start date and become the first institution to offer the January start.

The school’s dean Peter Crisp said: “Vocational students really just want to get on with it and get to work as soon as they can, so I think this will really benefit those students.”

BPP has also announced that it will run a new LLB that can be studied from February this year.

Meanwhile, the school has been approved by the Solicitors Regulation Authority to introduce a new online LPC from September 2010.

As part of the course students will be able to attend real-time lectures remotely via the internet.
