BPP Law School has launched redundancy talks with LPC staff at its Manchester branch.
The law school, one of the biggest LPC providers in the country, confirmed that it was in consultation with 11 members of staff, but stressed that tutors on the GDL would remain unaffected. BPP dean Peter Crisp said: “We’re doing all we can to avoid redundancies, including transferring staff to new roles within our network of law school centres. We’re not immune to the current climate.”

This is such a shame. From someone who has just finished the LPC at BPP Manchester I can honestly say the majority of the LPC teachers were excellent. A few were average to say the least and I only hope that the right people are chosen for redundancy.
