Boodle Hatfield private client partner Ian Cain has resigned to become head of Goldman Sachs' UK strategic wealth advisory team. The departure, while a blow to the firm's private client practice, is likely to result in a stronger link between Boodles and Goldman Sachs. Additionally, Boodles announced it had promoted three solicitors to the partnership, two in real estate and one in tax. Following the changes, Boodles will have 29 partners and 190 staff. David Middleton
