Boies Schiller & Flexner has settled a sex discrimination suit brought by two former female associates and agreed to pay $37,500 (£25,800) to each plaintiff
The suit, brought by Bonnie Porter and Rachel Baird, alleged that the US firm operated a segregated system giving preferential treatment to men in terms of salaries and status. Porter said that she agreed to settle because Boies Schiller had taken steps to address her complaints. The firm stated that it had admitted no wrongdoing. In addition to the firm, partners David Boies, Philip Korologos and Robert Silver were individually named as defendants.
