Bob Calmes is heading the New York representative office of Arendt & Medernach. He concentrates his practice on cross-border mergers and acquisitions, corporate restructurings and the setting up of joint ventures.
He also advises private equity firms, hedge funds and real-estate funds regarding corporate finance, acquisition structuring and buy-out transactions.
Calmes has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2006.
He holds a Master’s degree in international law from the Université Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne, a degree from the Institut d’Administration des Entreprises within the Université Paris I Panthéon Sorbonne and a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree from Pace Law School.
He speaks English, French, German and Luxembourgish.
