BNP Paribas boss goes private

The former head of legal at BNP Paribas in Switzerland has left the investment bank for a second time to return to private practice, after moving to Pestalozzi Lachenal Patry. Gilles Thieffry (left), a former member of the executive board in the Swiss office of BNP Paribas, joined Pestalozzi’s Geneva office on 1 June as a partner. Philippe Berta, Thieffry’s deputy at BNP Paribas, will take over as head of legal in Switzerland.
