BLP halves promotions but elects more associate directors

Berwin Leighton Paisner (BLP) has promoted six associates to the partnership, fewer than half the record 13 promoted last year.

However, the firm has also promoted a further four lawyers to the associate director position it created as an alternative to partnership last year (The Lawyer, 20 November 2006).

Real estate finance got two new partners, with a new partner each in private client, planning, project and corporate finance.

The new partners are Andrew Flemming and Jo Solomon in real estate finance, Damian Bloom in private client, Christian Drage in planning, Deborah Greenwood in projects and Ian Ivory in corporate finance.

The new associate directors are Jeremy Bark in regulatory, Louise Barr in real estate, Kirsty Berryman in corporate finance and Jonathan Dickson in technology.
