The Lawyer Global Litigation Top 50 report is the only ranking of international law firms by litigation and arbitration revenue and is essential reading for anyone seeking to benchmark their litigation and dispute resolution practices...
This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
We’d like to say that Greenberg Traurig Maher has 45 lawyers working on the Colt Technology Services account that it has just won from Berwin Leighton Paisner (see story) - then we could call them “the Colt 45”.
Still, there are obviously enough of them beavering away to steal the tech company from under BLP’s Managed Legal Services’ nose.
How appropriate that a London office that is still fewer than four years old has just won a trophy client called Colt (equine joke alert).
This is not the best news for BLP and its determination to be seen as the market’s most forward-thinking, trailblazing outfit. Last year Colt brought in BLP’s Managed Legal Services division to handle all of its employment law issues across Europe. But the two parties couldn’t agree terms and the deal never got underway.
One year in and BLP has just been discarded, with GTM apparently taking over the same deal presumably on similar cost-efficient terms.
More P45 than Colt 45.
