Berrymans Lace Mawer (BLM) has promoted eight associates to its partnership with half the total being made up in Manchester.
Of those made up to the partnership five specialise in personal injury, including the four made up in Manchester, who are John Collins, Mark Flavell, Sally Hancock, and Paul Tarne.
The firm’s Liverpool office gained the fifth personal injury partner in the shape of Barry Jones.
Elsewhere, BLM’s Birmingham, Leeds and London offices received one new partner each. Fraud specialist Simon Hammond joins the Birmingham partnership; Roy Woollard, a public sector specialist, is made up in Leeds; and in London professional negligence specialist Michael Harvey has been promoted.
The firm is now home to 145 partners.
BLM senior partner Terry Renouf said: “Fraud, personal injury and professional negligence are significant and growing areas for BLM and the promotions in five of our offices ensures that we continue to deliver a truly national presence.”
