Bircham managing partner to step down in May
Bircham Dyson Bell’s managing partner has told the firm’s management board that he will not stand for re-election next month.

Guy Vincent has been in the role for seven years, but will pass the mantle on to fellow management board member and head of business services Jesper Christensen – in accordance with the firm’s constitution – on an interim basis, until a new managing partner is elected.
After he steps down next month, Vincent will remain at the firm as a partner in the business services department.
In a statement, senior partner John Stephenson said: “On behalf of us all, the management and partnership boards would like to thank Guy for his hard work and unswerving service to the firm during his two terms as managing partner. Guy will remain a partner in the business services department, continuing to develop our corporate practice.”
In 2011, Bircham Dyson Bell called off merger talks with Scottish firm Dundas & Wilson after failing to win partner backing for the bid (10 October 2011).
Earlier this year Dundas’ managing partner Donald Shaw announced that he had stood down from the role with immediate effect to return to practice (8 March 2012).
