Regional player Bevan Brittan is accelerating its push into the health sector with the hire of a team from Beachcroft Wansbroughs.

As first revealed on www.thelawyer.com (5 May), Beachcrofts partner Melanie Print is joining Bevan Brittan’s Birmingham office with three assistants. The hires follow the relocation of regulatory partner Richard Annandale and clinical negligence partner Adrian Dagnall to Birming-ham to spearhead the health practice in the Midlands and the North.

Bevan Brittan’s health group, led by partner Steve Hughes, had a leading role in the NHS Lift programme. It acts for more than 200 NHS clients and a third of all foundation trusts.

Chief executive Stuart Whitfield said: “This demonstrates our investment in the Birmingham practice.”
