Bevan Ashford has raided regional rival Wragge & Co to scoop a top local government specialist and an associate to bolster its public sector team.
Peter Keith-Lucas will arrive from the Birmingham firm where he has headed up the local government department for the past seven years.
The firm also snapped up his Wragges colleague Caraline Johnson, an expert in social services and education, who joins as an associate in the public sector division. The pair will now team up with Bethan Evans, Bevan Ashford’s incumbent head of public sector.
Keith-Lucas is renowned as an expert after spending 25 years working in local government law.
“Bevan Ashford places more responsibility on the individuals in the team and there is a lot more scope for progression,” he said.
