Bell & Scott expansion forces move to new site
Niche Scottish property firm Bell & Scott is moving into new premises in Glasgow after expanding significantly in the year since opening in the city.
The Edinburgh-headquartered firm opened in Glasgow last September via the takeover of three-partner firm Clairmonts.
Bell & Scott managing partner Ian MacDonald said that at the time the firm had three partners and one associate based in Glasgow, but now has four partners, five associates, two paralegals and two trainees.
As a result of this growth the firm is moving from its current 3,000sq ft office to a 7,000sq ft space in Glasgow's George Square.
"We are still looking to recruit and have headhunters looking for laterals for the Glasgow office," said MacDonald. "Our plan is to double the size of the business."
