German firm Beiten Burkhardt has recruited Linklaters counsel Dietmar Müller-Boruttau to its Berlin employment practice.
Müller-Boruttau will join as a salaried partner and will focus on non-contentious employment issues.
He started his career at Oppenhoff & Rädler’s Cologne office in 1997, being elected to partner four years later. He then moved to Berlin in 2004 and became a counsel at Linklaters.
Beiten’s Berlin employment team boasts more than 40 lawyers, including 13 salaried partners and two equity partners.
Practice head Thomas Puffe-Rausch said the group was planning to recruit three further lawyers this year.
