Beckles in dispute after debt stories

Husnara Begum

Beckles in dispute after debt storiesGlobal Graduates chief executive Yolande Beckles is planning to meet up with Global Graduates law firm sponsors. She aims to reassure them that the organisation's finances are in order as she becomes embroiled in a heated dispute with an occupational psychologist over the groundbreaking Diversity Management Survey (DMS).

Beckles will speak to sponsors such as Allen & Overy, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, Linklaters and Slaughter and May to explain that recent tabloid revelations regarding her finances will not affect Global Graduates' ongoing activities.

Relationships between Beckles and Think Doctor Psychology Assessment's principal psychologist Delroy Constantine-Simms broke down after Beckles starred in the BBC2 programme Don't Mess with Miss Beckles.

Constantine-Simms, who was hired as a consultant, said he wanted to distance himself from Global Graduates because of its failure to settle debts on time. He has written to the law firms participating in the DMS saying that he is taking over the survey from Global Graduates.

It is understood that Global Graduates intends to run the DMS on its own. Beckles declined to comment.
