Beachcroft Wansbroughs has elected Simon Hodson as the firm’s new senior partner following David Hunt's decision to stand down from the role after 10 years.
Hodson, who is currently head of the commercial division and has particular experience in private company acquisitions and disposals, was unanimously elected as Hunt’s successor and will formally begin his tenure on 1 August.
Hunt will meanwhile continue as a full-time partner with the firm, after opting to stand down as senior partner to concentrate on growing the firm’s financial services group.
Hodson’s appointment follows that of Paul Murray who took over as managing partner in May from Bob Heslett who stood down from the role after a 12-month handover period.
