The Lawyer Global Litigation Top 50 report is the only ranking of international law firms by litigation and arbitration revenue and is essential reading for anyone seeking to benchmark their litigation and dispute resolution practices...
This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Beachcroft is to launch flexible working arrangements to free its lawyers from attending the office.
The pilot scheme will be launched in Bristol when the firm moves into its new office. The arrangements constitute a 'paperless office' concept involving online working using laptop computers and mobile email devices.
South West senior partner Michael Bothamley said: "The key point here is simple: it gives our lawyers the option to work anywhere in the world. Only lawyers in supervisory roles will be required to come in."
The scheme is the firm's latest attempt to adapt to the changing needs of associates. This already includes an 'employability' strand focusing on career development, with sponsorship for qualifications including an LLM in structured property law and a diploma in litigation.
Bothamley said: "We recognise that we can't provide jobs for life, so we want to offer everything else that we can."
The new office comprises 90,000sq ft on the first and second floors of a building owned by Deeley Freed Estates, which also purchased Beachcroft's existing office at 10-22 Victoria Street.
