Beachcroft and Davies Arnold Cooper (DAC) have both put their trainee recruitment schemes on hold indefinitely just before their merger goes live on 1 November.
After the merger the combined firm will make a decision about the future of its graduate recruitment campaign.
A Beachcroft spokesperson said: “Our training contract recruitment process is currently on hold until after the merger and until after we realign both processes.
“We’ll therefore not be attending law fairs this year or opening our application system until we have a structured process and plan in place.”
In their 2013 graduate recruitment rounds both Beachcroft and DAC dropped the number of graduates they took on byaround 75 per cent to ensure that future trainees would not be affected adversely by the merger.
