East London firm Adams has become the latest law firm to sign up to a professional services bartering network.
Adams joins more than 20 firms, including Field Fisher Waterhouse, to have joined the network run by Bartercard UK.
The network means that firms can purchase goods and services in exchange for professional legal services.
Adams has already used the arrangement to gain instructions from a fast food company on the commercial lease of new London offices.
In August 2003, The Lawyer revealed that Field Fisher Waterhouse had joined Bartercard as well as another trading network, Professional Spirit. The latter is a regulated online marketplace for professional-to-professional networking and trading.
