  • Were any journalists actually present at the tribunal, or was this article based on some kind of press release by "fighters for justice" ?

  • I consulted Mercouris and then noticed he was listed on solicitorsfromhell.co.uk and I went elsewhere. Thank you SFH. Please come back – you are needed!

  • Of course the journalist was there, his name is at the top of this article. This man is known to the police and was subject to a previous police investigation in 2008 , guess what for? thats right he forged a Judge's signature and the Judge went to the police. This is fact you cant print something without being able to prove it.
For the above comment there is another site, solicitors from hell 2, American based. Bad solicitors and Barristers need to be named and shamed and the public have a right to know. Anyone who has a problem with this has obviously got something to hide.

  • As a practising solicitor, it is Lorna Jamous who has my sympathy. She has been let down by the legal profession.
I too used to volunteer at CAB when I was in practise in the city. It was shambolic, amateur and (often due to the late instructions by clients) didn't achieve many results for the 1000's of hours of free city time.
Mr Mercouris had choices, he may have been depressed or unwell but he still choose to disadvantage his client. Sadly, as well as sympathy (if he is unwell) he also needs conviction for his criminal actions to show that this is NOT acceptable.
It wasn't a joke to his clients who lives have been irreparably damaged by his deceits.

  • Desmond Hudson, CEO of the Law Society accused whistle-blower, Rick Kordowski, the publisher of SolicitorsFromHell.co.uk of ‘criminal behaviour’ and had his website shut down by the High Court. I really doubt sustainable criminal proceeding will be brought against Alaxander Mercouris. He will probably just walk away as do so many rogue lawyers and barristers in the UK. But Lorna – don’t give up!

  • Thanks for that comment. At the very least he will get a criminal record (i will make sure of it) after all we cant have barristers forging Judges signatures can we? sending out the wrong message i think. They didnt really want to prosecute him but they couldnt get out of it given all the evidence i had given them. :)

  • This man is a very evil and clever conman who knew exactly what he was doing. He was feeding this woman, who trusted him, a costant web of lies. He has brought the Law Society into disrepute and whilst he has been struck off, this is not good enough. He should be charged by the police and prosecuted for forging Baroness Hale`s signature and recieve a criminal record for his actions. I also believe that he should be tried in a Civil Court and made to pay substantial damages to Miss Jamous for the mental ordeal he had put her through. This is a very brave and strong woman and without people like her in this world
we would never know how some people in the legal proffession could be so corrupt.

  • Thank you so much for your comments, I will do my best to make sure justice is done (this time around) and hopefully the MET POLICE will also.
