BARRISTER Alison Green has been appointed chair of the British Insurance Law Association (BILA)

BARRISTER Alison Green has been appointed chair of the British Insurance Law Association (BILA).

Green, who practices from Queen Elizabeth Building, has been heavily involved in insurance and reinsurance disputes over the last 15 years and is joint editorial adviser on Merkin and McGee's Insurance Contract Law.

She has served on the BILA committee for several years and has lectured extensively on insurance and European Union law in universities and at legal conferences.
