The Bar Council is preparing to place its training, administration and investigation arms all under one roof.
Over the course of August the Council will de-camp from its three long-established offices in Bedford Row and Cursitor Street in central London and move into a single building at 289-293 High Holborn.
The relocation, which will take place over two stages during this month, is solely aimed at placing Council staff under one roof, rather than to take advantage of favourable rates in the current soft property market.
A large number of both law firms and chambers have moved in recent weeks, for example 14 Tooks Court announced it would decamp to Clerkenwell from its traditional Holborn base.
