Bakers partner in social mobility move

Baker & McKenzie head of administration and public law Tom Cassels has been appointed a trustee of the Social Mobility Foundation.

The firm has a longstanding relationship with the charity, which aims to help high-achieving A-level students from low-income backgrounds attain university places. Former Bakers managing partner Russell Lewin was a trustee of the charity from 2006 until he passed away in 2009. Cassels has previously undertaken pro bono work for the UN High Commissioner for Refugees and Save the Children.
