The Lawyer Global Litigation Top 50 report is the only ranking of international law firms by litigation and arbitration revenue and is essential reading for anyone seeking to benchmark their litigation and dispute resolution practices...
This year, The Lawyer’s annual ranking of the largest UK law firms by turnover is available as an interactive, digital benchmarking tool. For the first time this will allow you to manipulate each data set against the metrics of your choice.
Frydenson will join the London office of Bakers next week as a full-time consultant. The position is the equivalent of a partner.
He will join the private banking team, which has tripled in size in less than three years following a strategic review to grow the practice area. The private banking practice now numbers more than 150 lawyers globally. The London expansion follows similar growth in New York, Miami and Zurich.
The growth has reaped a number of new clients for the firm following international roadshows in Switzerland and the Middle East.
Bakers private banking head Paul Stibbard said: "Henry’s trust litigation credentials will be greatly valued, particularly in our continued push into the growing Swiss trust litigation scene."
Frydenson is a specialist in contentious aspects of tax, trusts, estate planning and private client litigation.
A BLP spokesman said the firm’s trusts and personal tax planning group remained strong, and would continue its pattern of year-on-year growth.
“Henry was in our litigation department, which is much more commercially focused and I think this was a strategic opportunity that was too good for him to pass up. He leaves the firm with the best of wishes.” BLP’s trusts and personal tax planning group remains headed by Jonathan Kropman.
