Texas firm Baker Botts has made up 13 lawyers in its latest round of partner promotions, including two in London.
Global projects lawyer Hamish McArdle and litigator Alejandro Escobar – the only lawyers to be promoted outside the US – joined the partnership at the firm’s London office on 18 October.
Four partners were made up in New York: IP lawyers Sandra Lee and Robert Maier; litigator Zachary Hughes; and corporate lawyer John Winter.
Corporate lawyer Luckey McDowell, projects lawyer Jeremy Gott and tax lawyer Eric Winwood were all made up in Dallas, while only one lawyer - litigator Aaron Streett - was promoted in Houston, the firm’s HQ.
Litigators Kevin Cadwell and Bridget Moore were made up in Palo Alto and Washington respectively, while IP lawyer Darryl Adams joined the partnership in Austin.
Outside the US and London, Baker Botts also has offices in Abu Dhabi, Beijing, Dubai, Hong Kong, Moscow and Riyadh.
