Guernsey firm Babbe Le Pelley Tostevin has appointed Ian Swan as its new head of litigation. The promotion aims to free up managing partner Andrew Laws, who previously held both roles, to focus on the firm's growth. Laws said: "This appointment is a further demonstration of our firm's continuing growth." The appointment coincides with Swan's promotion to the firm's partnership. Before joining the firm in 2004 Swan was a barrister with Crown Office Chambers for 18 years.
