Ashurst turns to Norton Rose for Munich hire

Ashurst has hired a corporate partner from Norton Rose in Munich.
Lars Jessen, a private equity and M&A specialist, will join Ashurst’s Munich office on 1 October. Jessen has a particular focus on advising investors, creditors and corporates on restructurings.
In a statement, Ashurst’s Germany managing partner Peter Junghänel said: “His appointment is a another important step in the strategic development of the German corporate practice. Our internationally integrated corporate team will be able to offer investors and corporates an even broader range of services.”
Ashurst has two offices in Germany, one in Munich and one in Frankfurt.
Earlier this week Norton Rose recruited an arbitration partner from White & Case in Frankfurt (26 September 2011).
