Ashurst is to send out private equity partner Simon Beddow to head up its German practice.

Beddow, has been troubleshooting in the firm’s Paris office since last year. He was sent over to France in the wake of the departure of rainmaker Thomas Forsbach to Latham & Watkins.

Beddow takes up his new position on March 31 and he will be based in Frankfurt.
