Ashurst scoops Stratford City mandate

Ashurst has won a role advising on the £4bn Stratford City development. Ashurst was previously advising Stratford City Development Partnership, a consortium of developers comprising Westfield, the Reuben Brothers and Stanhope, but Westfield opted to continue the arrangement with Ashurst rather than side with long-term adviser Nabarro Nathanson, when the consortium split up. Westfield became the sole developer for the project after buying out the remaining shares following a dispute with the Reuben Brothers.
