Ashurst’s French office is set to lose highly-rated international finance partner Jonathan Nabarro.
It is understood that Nabarro, who has been a partner with Ashurst since 1997, resigned from the firm last week but will continue to work for a number of weeks completing deals.
As yet it is not clear where Nabarro is moving to but it is believed he is exploring a number of opportunities. His departure from Ashurst is understood to be entirely amicable.
During his time at Ashurst Nabarro advised on a number of high profile deals including acting for the senior lenders, CSFB, Royal Bank of Scotland and Lehman Brothers, on the mammoth Schneider/Legrand leveraged buy-out.
