Ashurst loses second energy partner in a month

The English, Australian and Papua New Guinean-qualified lawyer made partner at Ashurst in 2001. She left the partnership at the end of August and is not joining an Australian law firm.

Eccleston joined the City firm in 1998 from Australia and previously worked in the jurisdiction as an associate at Australian firm Arthur Robinson & Hedderwicks, the legacy firm of Allens Arthur Robinson (AAR).

She has advised clients in the mining and oil and gas sectors, including on major petrochemicals deals.

The news follows the departure of equity partner Anthony Patten for the Perth office of AAR last month (11 August 2011).
