Ashurst bolsters Frankfurt with White & Case hire" />Ashurst’s Frankfurt office has hired White & Case local acquisition finance partner Anne Force.
She will start at Ashurst as a partner and is qualified in German, French and English law.
Ashurst’s German managing partner Simon Beddow said: “We’ve been looking for some time to expand the finance team - it’s been hugely successful.”
Beddow added that he would like to see the finance team and the competition and antitrust team, to continue growing but said that he anticipates most of that growth to happen through internal promotions.
He said: “The third homegrown partner has been appointed this year [in Germany] and now we have a fairly large number of other people coming up on the horizon.”
The German finance team will number a total of five partners and around 22 fee-earners. Of those three partners (including Force) and around 18 fee-earners are based in acquisition finance.
Ashurst has in recent times concentrated especially on its German finance practice, recruiting finance partners Tom Beckerhoff und Stephan Kock.
